Youth baseball fundraiser idea?
Will be coaching a 13/14 yr summer baseball team next year. Would like to get started on fundraiser(s) after the first of the year….my goal is to raise enough $$$ for the league fees & equipment without having to make the kids pay to play. One idea is to hold a golf tournament…never done that before. Definitely don’t want to make the kids sell anything….nor do we want to have the old standby type fundraisers like a car wash…this will take place in a smaller community, so it needs to be easy……any suggestions for us??? Thanks in advance:)
If you’re in a small town, you should be able to get sponsors that are looking for things like youth sports, like used car lots and restaurants, good if they’re connected to your family. Otherwise, it could possibly take a lot of meetings, but it’s money in the bank… good money. If you can’t sell you can hire someone on commission or contract.
But I hope you are just looking for new ideas to build on those you already had when you assumed this responsibility.
