Baseball and children…?
My son is 4, I would like to introduce him to baseball. He watches the games with me on TV, we have gone to games live, and am beginning to throw with him, even though its more of a ‘lob’. I would like to know if anyone has any ‘free’ websites that help out on how to begin teaching proper mechanics, at what age, etc. I myself am not a baseball player by any means, but I do love the game, my son loves it so far, I just want to try and teach him the best I can, and any advise via personal or website, etc would be helpful.

I am a mother of four boys. My youngest is 4 and we put him in t-ball this spring. I love the game as well and am the assistant coach of my 10 year old sons team. At this age he just needs to know the basics. Learning how to hit off a T and throwing the ball. He will start to learn the fundamentals of baseball as he gets a little older. My 5 year old was in t ball last season and he already knows to throw the ball to first, he can catch the ball and tag the base, and has great form when batting.
