What are my chances at these colleges?
Colleges: RPI, WPI, RIT, BU, Binghamton, Uconn
Credentials:
3.7 unweighted gpa, top 10% of class
SAT 580 reading, 710 math, 640 writing (will be taking SAT II’s)
5 on AP bio exam
Lots of volunteer work in community
4 years high level baseball
1 year science olympiad, 1 yr math club
in NHS
Will my lack of extra curriculars make it impossible for me to get in?
You are a good fit for Binghamton. And you will most easily get into UConn. RPI would depend on that program you’re applying to. And Im not too familiar with WPI n RIT admissions.
But your personal essay would set you apart, and so you need to work hard on that. What makes you different from the other applicants, what’s something different you’ll bring onto the campus.
