Should I still go on my AZ trip even though my mom is having surgery?!?
so my dad was going to take me, my sister and a friend to arizona for spring training, to visit my brother at arizona state, and tour the school. we were going to leave friday morning(requiring me to skip school) and we would come back sunday real late. its a 12 hour drive from where we live. we already have hotel reservations and bought the baseball tickets. i was so excited for this trip since like december.
the problem is my mom is getting surgery on thursday and will have to be in the hospital for a couple of days. so we would leave her by herself! am i being selfish by still wanting to go? what would you do???
the doctor says its an easy surgery but you never know. i say we can see how she is feeling thursday night
depends on what kind of surgery.. if its minor.. go for it.. if its major.. stay for her support
