Nationals Baseball Directions
Which direction is the league heading in?

Do we have pitchers hit in the American League? Do we include designated hitters for the pitchers in the National League? Does it stay as it is with designated hitters in the American League and hitting pitchers in the National League? What do you think the future holds for Major League Baseball?
I do agree that Selig is afraid of change.

I agree, bud Selig won’t make any major changes to the league as long as he is commisioner. The MLB’s future relies heavily on the decision regarding instant replay. Everyone wants to get a call right, but baseball is not like the NFL in that manner, for instance, the strike zone. Umpire’s making judgment calls are part of the game and managers getting tossed for arguing a call that the umpires are actually wrong about is a great part of the game too. As far as the DH rule, i don’t see the National League giving in anytime soon. I think the DH rule should be abolished but the contrast of having each league with a different rule gives more flexibility to the players and managers around the league.
