Mlb 2k8 Baseball Wii
Can any of the Wii baseball games make me better?
I know obviously the best way to get better is to go out and practice. Really I suck at baseball(I have no skill at the moment) and I want to make the team by next year. So if this was my only option to train would it help any? Would I learn anything?
If so which would I get the most practice out of, the most fun, learn the most from, and or just the best game? You can name your own I just wanted to give a list
Wii Sports Baseball
The Bigs
Backyard Baseball
MLB Powerpros
Major League Baseball 2K8
Any of those games you mentions are similar because you go through the swinging motion and pitching motion. Wii Sports is just basic hitting and pitching, to locate pitches in Wii Sports you have to press a button (not realistic). So that’s not going to really help you.
The most realistic out of all those games is probably MLB 2k8. You have to locate pitches and be on target with your batting.
Nothing will compare to the real thing. If you want to make the team next year you need to face live pitching. You need to hit an actual ball. Training in a video game is going to help you very minimal. They also have products out that you hit a ball and it wraps around a pole and pitches back to you, so you can hit it over and over. That’s your best bet because you don’t need another person. You can use that product by yourself. Or you can draw a square on a wall simulating a strike zone and pitch against the wall so the ball rolls back to you, it’ll also help you with your fielding. Good luck!
