Where do professional baseball players buy their bats from?
I want to get the maple bats the professionals use, the top of the line, best quality product out there. Price is not an issue, but was hoping to find a place that would discount for buying in bulk, or atleast a place with some sort of warranty..we all know those maple bats are breaking like crazy these days.. I know of a few places online such as xbats and slam bats, but is that really where pros get their wood? Hopefully some minor league players or players with a lot of experience with wood bats will help me find the answer to this question. Help a fellow ball player find his perfect wood, please!
I spoke with a guy who manufactures bats on a small scale. He told me that the bats the pros are given are not available to anyone but pros. The wood is perfect and of the highest quality and that even minor league professionals don’t get that type of quality. Anything available to the general public is pretty much junk.
