what do you think of the plot of the book im writing?
okay, four kids, living in a town that a minor league baseball team plays in
one kid’s uncle secretly buys it, then dies and passes it on to him.
the same kids best friend’s dad played for the team many years ago and was the best player in franchise history, but quit suddenly for some odd reason. Back to the main kid, who takes over as coach for the lowly minor league team, last in their division despite an all star team. the kid fights adversity to get to the team to the top, while his best friends dad is eaten up inside by the real reason he quit baseball. The main kid has always been the starting centerfielder and leadoff man for his baseball team, but now on the ninth grade team loses his job to the new kid.
Through the main plot and many sub plots all four kids learn something about themselves and life, and that attitude and effort in sports is the most important thing.
It sounds great! Well I am not a big fan of baseball, but my cousins are so they would definatly read it!
