Any one else Feel this way about major leagues? (Baseball)?
Say we have Tim. Tim Got picked for the major leagues in his Senior year. Tim plays for a year and is living it up makes a good amount of money. Then one game Tim hurts his arm. The doctor tells Tim he can not play baseball. Tim heals and searches for a job. No one will give him a good job and he ends up working in a crappy Store.
Does Any one agree Baseball ruins lives not helps them or am I alone here?
As one who believes that sports are the modern opiate for the masses, replacing religion, look at Sundays now, I don’t waste my time following any professional sports. They don’t affect my life. If more people would be involved in the political process to improve their lives instead of quoting sports statistics, our country wouldn’t be in the shape it’s in.
So, “yes” is my answer to your question.
