Major League Baseball Moises
Is Dominican baseball player Moises Alou a U.S. citizen since he was born in Atlanta, Georgia?ike to ask?
His dad Felipe was a major league ball player, who played with the Braves, in between 1966 and 1969, so I’m taking that’s why he was born there. His dad played major league baseball until 1974, so Moises may have lived on and of in the U.S. until 8 years old. Since he was born in the U.S., because of ”jus soli”, does that make him an American citizen? I know he’s a Dominican citizen, because he played in the WBC, but is he a dual citizen? Or did he give up his U.S. citizenship? Are people who are born in other
good question…yes, since he was born here he is a US citizen. also , just because you play for a country doesnt mean youre a citizen of that country.
