Baseball question for college?
I am 17 and going into my senior year and i have a question
I grew up playing little league a pure left handed hitter
But as a joke in American Legion Ball my freind dared me to bat right handed during a game
So i did and i got a double and I decided that switch hitting is better for you
So i continued switch hitting throuout my sophmore yeat but it was clear i was a better lefty
My junior year i was second on the team in home runs with 7 and first in RBIs 26 and i only hit one of my home runs from the right side all year
Now i was wondering i want to go to college and mabey be a walk on firstbasemen
Do you Think i should be a pure lefty again or stick to switch hitting
All opinions appprecated
the common asnwer to to stay strickly lefty…but what an advantage you will have over other players if you can learn to hit consistantly from both sides of the plate. if i were you i would keep testing it out its a rare skill thats hard to come by
