Historic Baseball Moments
Greatest Baseball Moment?

Please only MLB baseball. It’s no secret that professional baseball has been around for 140 years but in all those years, what is the greatest moment. I’ve got a few suggestions (it’s more than a few):

Derek Jeter’s dive into the stands against the Red Sox
Bucky Dent, Chris Chambliss and Aaron Boone’s historic clinchers
Harvey Haddix’s 12 innings of perfection only to lose 1-0.
Bobby Thomson’s and Bill Mazeroski world series winner.
Don Larsen’s perfect game.
Gehrig’s gettysburg address of baseball.
Bill Wambsganns world series unassisted triple play.
Hammerin’ Hank passes the Babe.
Gibson’s game 1 world series winner off of Dennis Eckersley.
Mookie Wilson goes through the legs of Bill Buckner.
Willie Mays over the shoulder basket catch.
Reggie Jackson sees 3 pitches and homers 3 times in game 6
Maris passes Ruth’s single season homerun record
Cal Ripken Jr. passes Lou Gehrig
George Brett loses his cool

What did I miss?
These are in no particular order.
