Fantasy Baseball Draft
Who should I take with the 2nd pick in my fantasy baseball draft?

I originally had the 6th pick in the draft, but was offered the 2nd pick pretty cheap. A-Rod will go #1, who should I take in the #2 spot? Albert Puljols scares me a LOT, leaning towards a SS.

Obiviously, if A-Rod goes number one, then get the next best player in the draft….3B David Wright.

- He comes a little cheaper than A-Rod and can easily fill all the five-tool statistics you need to win (HR, RBI, batting average, SB, Runs) than any other player feature in the draft. He was one of only three player to accomplish a 30-30 (30 HR, 34 SB) season in 2007 (the other was MVP Jimmy Rollins and Reds 2B Brandon Phillips).

- Wright is barely reaching his peak at 25 and hasn’t had a bad season during his brief career.

- The lineup of Reyes, Beltran, and Delgado should help Wright improve his game again this season.

A-Rod is expected to be taken in the first, but don’t bypass Wright if you want a player that can carry a team.
