Famous Baseball Hitters

Black Sox Scandal?
Lets discuss about the famous Black Sox scandal. First off do you believe Shoeless Joe Jackson was involved. Everyone knows that he was one of the hottest hitters in the World Series, but some people said that he took the money from his teammates. Other people argue that he wasn’t an intelligent person so he didn’t really know what he was doing.
Second do you believe that the Black Sox Scandal almost ruin baseball and if it wasn’t for the arrival of Babe Ruth the sports would of slowly died?
Third what else can you tell me about the famous Black Sox scandal?
Jackson was complicit. He knew what was happening.
Not every game was thrown.
Jackson was illiterate. He couldn’t read or write very well. That doesn’t mean he was a moron, he just wasn’t well educated. Jackson was of at least average intelligence and certainly knew the fix was in. (I have never understood using the premise that Jackson was an idiot and therefore blameless, ‘cuz he wuz 2 dum 2 kno whut wuz goin’ on. Who the hell needs supporters who offer forth that approach?)
