Do college baseball players play summer ball?
Does the whole team usually play AAU or Legion together or do they go their separate ways and just have some workouts during the offseason together?
collage players do not play aau or legion teams, normally they are invited to play for certain reginal summer teams that are know as semi pro teams, it is called this because it has no school affiliation but the players are not payed to play, if you are not invited to a team most of the time the coach can find you a summer team to play for , or you can choose to head home and play somewhere there, also if you are a good college athlete you will play during the summer and the winter, but there is definatly nothing wrong with going home and just getting quality work in with a couple buddies, i know what i do is come back home and get about a month and a half of work with one of my buddies then report back for summer sessions where i go to school at, this is the comman theme for college baseball players. very rarely though will the entire team play on the same summer ball team, some will stay in the area and others will go back home to play on teams there.
