Cif Baseball Playoffs

What are the chances of me playing college baseball?
ok i am a freshman at a california high school know for their baseball program. I play shortstop and bat anywhere in the lineup. I am 5’5 135. i run the 100m in 11.75. For my travel team i batted .456 and struck out 2 times in 34 games. I have great range and can make the throw in the whole. I had 1 error on my travel team. I led the team in stolen bases. But since our baseball program is a powerhouse i am only on the freshman team but shud get called up to varsity for CIF, thats what our state playoffs are called. Is there a chance i can play D1 baseball? Right now my GPA is a 3.95
i dont go to grossmont, a so cal school i go to
The GPA is nice but it is not very important to the question.
At at age 14-15, you will grow. Size is ok, should not be a problem.
I would say you should be a 2-3 year starter in high school and a very good fielder….you can’t play in college if you can’t field your position very, very well. Then you need to be making all league teams by junior and senior year.
You should be playing summer ball….it would be great if you could play American Legion against older kids.
If those things fall into place you might go Div 1….but if not you could be Div 2 on a scholarship. A college degree should be your first priority.
If scouts are talking to you by your senior year, it’s a good sign.
Last option: if not recruited, try for an acedemic scholarship and join as a walk on….pick a smaller school.
