I would say no deal. Morneau is a monster, he is just an all around great hitter, and compared to Tex he is alot more consistent, with Tex having a bad year, that makes me say no. With John Lester, he is one of the hottest pitchers in baseball, after losing his first 2 starts hes 8-0 since! The only thing you get out of this is a better proven 3B, you never know how good Alvarez will be, you losing 2 great plaers for mediocre players in return.
And for your line up, its an alright team. I would try putting in a trade with Aaron Hill and Greinke for for another MI and SP, they are both good but Hill is off this year, and Greinke is a Royal so you just never know.
