How can I get a ball at a baseball game from warmups?
ok I have 4 row seats in the outfield and im going to the game tonight pirates lol and during the inning breaks they warmup how can I catch or at least of a good chance. im bringing my glove
Go 2 hours before the game durning BP (batting practice). Check out the lineups for each team and ask yourself, are most of their power hitters left handed or right handed? If right, go to the left field seats, if left go to right field seats with your glove. If you don’t know the players all that well just go to left.
You don’t need a ticket to go there and stand by the wall or as close as you can. Then enoy shagging flys. Once BP is over you have to leave, unless you have a ticket for a nearby seat. I did this in Philly once and between my buddy and I we got 5 balls.
This doesn’t work on Sundays since most teams do not take BP on that day.
