How do I clean a baseball cap?
I washed it in the washer with the rest of my clothes. It got the terrible smell out, even though it is still faintly there. But there is still the yellow sweat stains. What do I do and use to get the smell and stains out of my hat without damaging the it?
i use this method when cleaning my husbands ball caps (when he lets me pry em off his head LOL)
fill basin/sink w/ hot water and mix in proper amound of oxyclean (the regular kind that comes in a tub)
Let it soak over night and you’ll be surprised how nice it’s gonna look. i like to use a soft bristled nail brush to help scrub out the dirt when i rinse it out in the morning.
oh, i also put a little anti-germ soap in just to help kill the sweat germs and get rid of the smell. LOL
good luck! (oh i hang dry his had over night, or all day while i’m at work. he says the dryer shrinks them.
