Baseball Spreadsheet
Can someone help me with this excel formula?
Thanks in advance guys. What would the formula be on excel if I wanted to display “free” if baseball player is a free agent, “desirable” if the players batting average is over .300 and their age is at least 21 and displays “minors” for any player that doesnt fit in those categories?.All this assuming I have a spreadsheet with true false values for batting average, age, etc.
I think the only one that would be true false is the free agent question.
so a1 is player a free agent true false
b1 players batting average
c1 is players age
put on two lines due to yahoo punctuation cut off
=IF(and(A1=TRUE(),B1>299,C1>20),
“desirable”,”Minors”)
if you want though use your true false query
=IF(AND(A1=TRUE(),B1=TRUE(),C1=TRUE())
,”disireable”,”Minors”)
however if all 3 values are not good enough to make the desirable appear having it default to minors seems odd perhaps use ineligible
