Yankee/Sox Rivalry?
but am i the only 1 that hates this damn Yankee/Red Sox rivalry? I mean, i will admit that i have a Yankees Suck t shirt. But i dont start shit with random Yankee fans. I only come at the Yankees if a Yankee fan is coming at the Sox. And i would say that the Yankee fans are immature, but not all of them are. And some sox fans are just as immature, so i cant say that. But ugh, its so frustrating. I wish that people realized that baseball is just a game.
Earlier, there was a post where a Yankee fan was putting Jason Varitek down. And as a Red Sox fan i defended him. And the kid that posted the question had the nerve to make a seperate question, and single my out by putting my username in the question area! Wtf is that! Its really not that serious…
What do you think abt the rivalry?
This question has absolutely NOTHING to do with him. I’m talking abt the rivalry in general. I just added that part about how he singled me out to show how rediculous the rivalry is.
This is how I’ve felt all along. I wish the Yankees didn’t exist or we were in separate leagues so we wouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense. The rivalry is 1 thing, but the problem is that people take it way too far. There’s nothing wrong with loving and supporting your team, but the personal attacks and stupid things that people say about the other team and their fans is something that makes me highly agitated. I’m from Boston, therefore a lifelong Red Sox fan and will always defend them, but I don’t post questions dissing the Yankees all the time because while I don’t like them, I don’t feel the need to be preoccupied with everything the Yankees are doing. I just focus on my team, and if fans want to be typical dumb human beings, let them. I’m passionate about the Sox and I know Yankee fans feel the same way about their team, but enough with the World War 3 stuff. It is just a game and we all have far more important things to worry about in life.
T CUSE calls Red Sox fans arrogant and cocky. This is an example of how hypocritical the fans are. Yankee fans are just as arrogant and cocky as anyone else. But you know how people are. I can admit there are certain types of Red Sox fans that I can’t stand. The Yankees have that same type of fans that the good fans of New York have the same problem with. Seems like the bad ones always overshadow the good ones. And there are lots of good ones on both sides.
