Head to head fantasy baseball strategy?
Should I focus more on pitching or hitting in the draft?? The offensive categories are runs hits sb hr rbi strikeouts. The pitching cats are w,sv,era,k,whip,shutout,quality starts. The positions are c 1b 2b 3b ss of of of util util and p p p p p p p p p. How should I draft (10person league)
You can focus on both of them..
Sure,you’d have to pass on Johan,Lincecum,and CC,but after them there are still alot of really good pitchers; especially in a 10 player league..I suggest taking the best available 1st,2nd,and 3rd baseman,
shortstop,and 1 stud outfielder in the 1st 5 rounds..This will protect you at the thin positions.Then from there you can take a boat load of pitchers/closers,continue building a dominant offence,or mix it up for a more balanced team..If you focus on pitching after the 5th round,there will be very good catchers,outfielders,and utility players later; not so much for the other positions.
