What’s good to match up with gold for catcher’s equipment for baseball?
I’m trying out for my school’s baseball team this spring (yes I’m planning ahead) as a catcher. I need to buy a new catcher’s equipment head to toe (cause I’m trying out ad a catcher) our uniform is gold and the lettering is burgundy (also our school uniform’s color) what color do you think matches or looks good with gold I can’t really maroon chest protector (except for all star) Easton speed and mizuno samurai have sick chest protectors but doesn’t come with gold or burgundy. Is there other colour on the list that would look good to match? And please explain why.thank you

Catching is a glamor position and coaches aren’t looking for fashion statements, Just good, basic catching gear that will hold up while you are taking a beating. After two innings of play, everything will be covered with dirt and grime anyway.
Use your other wardrobe clothes for fashion statements.
