Which of these melee weapons would be the best at killing zombies and why?
The sledgehammer, the crowbar, the scythe, the baseball bat, the morning star. Try to give me an explanation for each weapons stated why or why not you would use the weapons. Almost like a pros and cons kind of thing.
A cricket bat seemed to be pretty effective, but since that’s not on your list I would have to say the scythe because it would be the easiest weapon to cut off the zombie’s heads. With the others it many take several blows to incapacitate them, but with a scythe one good swing, and they would be gone. After the scythe I’d go with the sledgehammer because it would cause a lot of damage with one swing, but wouldn’t completely remove the head, and it’s also a pretty cumbersome weapon. Then the morning star because of the spiked ball, but I always worry about inexperience people accidentally hitting themselves with it. Then the baseball bat, a Louisville Slugger preferably because they are well made, and can cause serious blunt force damage. Lastly, a crowbar because it’s small, and good for breaking into houses but not for fighting a zombie apocalypse because the person would have to be a little closer than with the other weapons to use it.
