how can I get the most out of a trip to the 2007 baseball hof induction weekend.?
My 4 person group will be staying in Albany, NY and driving into cooperstown daily. Any interesting things to do in Albany?
I know getting rooms in Cooperstown for the induction cerimony is nearly impossible but you may want to try to get a little closer. It’s a 1 to 1.5 hour drive from Albany to Cooperstown. Check out the Cooperstown Chamber of commerce website, they have lists of smaller bed and breakfasts in the area:

For the weekend, some of the top highlights are:
The induction ceremony itself, which i held just out of town in the field next to the clark gym.

Wandering around mainstreet, which is just beautiful.

The food at the Doubleday cafe downtown is really good, but will be VERY cowded. A local favorate is a place just out of town called “The Bean.”

Bring bathing suits because otsego lake is a great place to swim.
