I’m out $180 because of my friends?
So I left my boots at a baseball game (these are my hiking boots for mountains out west). My friends yelled for me, I didn’t hear them. They didn’t put them in any of their bags, they just went on the bus and left them there. That, I get angry at. I mean we’re at another town, you help your friend out. Ya I forgot them, I know it’s my fault, but they didn’t even pick them up, why? I get super angry at how they defend that they were loaded with all the equipment, how hard is it to carry a pair of boots? I’ve drived out to the field the day later and they’re not there, I talked to their coach also, no luck. All I want is an apology for leaving my boots there on purpose (I know I forgot them, but it was obvious and you help a friend out, right?). What should I do?
Just say to them why did you not pick up my boots?
