Are there any teams in baseball other than Oakland and Boston that use sabermetric analysis to make decisions?

Billy Beane and Theo Epstein have become famous using advanced statistical methods to make player personnel decisions. Paul DePodesta, Beane’s former Assistant GM, is now a consultant in San Diego, so they are probably doing it, too. But how many other teams/GMs have embraced “Moneyball” wholeheartedly?

All teams use sabermetrics to a certain extent. It’s no more than another way to evaluate players logically and unemotionally. Some teams put more weight on sabermetric analysis than other teams, but they would be idiots not to make it at least part of their decision making process.

The Red Sox won the world series for the first time in 86 years the year after they hired Bill James in their front office.
