Who’s the best rookie in the Major Leagues right now?
And don’t base your answers on Baseball America’s top prospect rankings. Base it on how they’ve actually performed at a big league level.
Oh yeah, and they’ve also had to play over 70 games. Starting pitchers, at least 100 innings pitched.
So in terms of pitching and hitting, rank the best rookies in the bigs right now.
For me:
Starting PItchers- Jaime Garcia (leads rookies in winning percentage, Ks, tied for win lead)
Position players/ Hitters- Ike Davis (leads rookies in RBIs, second in HR)
